State of Statelessness
Brussels
12 May — 07 July 2018
The exhibition, performance program, and publication State of Statelessness at ISELP in Brussels delved into themes of contemporary disembodiment and the individual's role in a media-saturated society. A group show that set out to manipulate the ambiguous notion of statelessness, the program featured works by artists Marijke De Roover, Office for Joint Administrative Intelligence, Meggy Rustamova, Eleonore Saintagnan, and Beny Wagner. Curated collaboratively by Hilde Borgermans, Romuald Demidenko, Maxime Gourdon, and Alicja Melzacka, the event was organized in conjunction with Curatorial Studies KASK & ISELP.
