All Known Tunnels

All Known Tunnels – an O.J.A.I. initiative in Chișinău this July will feature performance and experimental work in collaboration with Kristina Jakot. Presented in collaboration with the institution Tranzit Iași, the project is part of a series of meet-up sessions across different cities. It is associated with the "Introduction to Contemporary Arts and Politics" course at HDK-Valand Academy of Art and Design at the University of Gothenburg, with dates to be confirmed for the last week of July.

Sonic Expeditions to the European Rustbelt

Sonic Expeditions to the European Rustbelt is O.J.A.I.'s second vinyl LP. The tracks on the record are composed from sound recordings of underpasses, tunnels, obsolete machines, and scrap metal, made during extensive walks in post-industrial landscapes across Charleroi (Belgium) and Chisinau (Moldova). The musique concrète layer is enhanced by piano accompaniment by Tim Löhde. The photo on the album cover was taken by Victoria Tihonova.
