LISTEN was O.J.A.I.'s debut vinyl LP, a name inspired by the German plural for lists and the English concept of aural attention. The album features the co-directors of O.J.A.I. reading lists derived from a range of historical, mundane and speculatrive information sets. The lists are buffered by experimental and musique concrète interludes. Released on October 16, 2019, through the agency of Dexia Defunct, the album is a limited edition of 22, card-backed, signed and stamped stereo LP. LISTEN explores electronic, non-music, spoken word, field recording, noise, public service announcement, special effects, sound collage, education, and musique concrète genres.
