Horst Festival

Curated by Evelyn Simons, the Fallen Empires and Refound Desires exhibition at Horst Festival featured cross-disciplinary commissioned works and projects, reflecting the current generation's preparation for the imminent collapse of various societal structures. In the derelict context of the Asiat site, O.J.A.I. hosted a musical interactive quiz show with questions on topics ranging from historic disasters, national governmental failures, geopolitics, economics, and architecture porn. Prizes were inspired by survival packages to help participants through the apocalypse.
